Refined Flour in Polystyrene Cups.

"There's too much to look into" said Gerald as he burnt his hand opening a cup of microwave noodles. "It's growing by itself and we haven't the time for constant surveillance in an area where we have no idea what we're looking for" he resolved as he blurred his hand out of existence to cool it down.
"Be still" commanded Paulo, annoyed by the frigidity of Gerald's movements. "We have all the time we need to begin observation. You can start by paying attention to what everyone is reading."
"I already am! Believe me, I spend all my free time scouring the plains for herds. It's the feedback loop I'm concerned about. You know, the critics commenting on what everyone is reading and the responses to the responses and the.." He was cut short by Paulo's calm interjection.
"Refine your searches and let us meet again in an hour." And with that, Paulo took his afternoon nap to consolidate the meaning of Gerald's frigid limb.

Kanye West, Biff Merchants, The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra.

With the fervor surrounding Kanye West's VMA intervention dying down we can see how lucrative a move this was. Not only is Kanye doing well out of the situation [his career will continue, zealous fans will still attend to his shows, media appearances keep the wheels turning] but he has gifted media companies everywhere a bumper September activity. They may not admit this (openly) but rest assured, they love Mr West at the moment. And the saying goes: "Any publicity is good publicity".
Well yes. And no. Media frenzy like this pushes people to take some sort of stance, further propelling frenzy and egos as millions of leaders-to-be struggle to be heard. I think this is useful to understand each other but I've seen some awfully messy arguments over something as small as Swine Flu. You've got to hand it to Kanye West. What he did took some mighty big balls.
And as the internet boils, so does the opportunity to make money from t-shirts quoting relevant news and memes.

It is with great respect I relay the news of a great Dunedin band's final gig. The Biff Merchants sign off on Saturday the 26th, upstairs at the Captain Cook Tavern.

The Biff Merchants have been investing in the imagination, sharing their sense of space and tampering into the great unknown with audiences since 2007. Some members may be moving overseas soon so I implore you now, while you still can, check them out.

From my reality to yours, thank you for the most kind welcome. By the time this reaches you I will have departed from this keyboard so from now, to then, I hope you are well.

This blog may at any time investigate what it is to learn. I hope to further my own investigations and get into a more regular habit of writing, if only for my own amusement. This process may be under review as it is typed at which point the subject may be shaken up about over a cup of tea.

Anything may be involved; what is thought to have happened some time ago, what is thought to be happening and what is thought that may happen, for example. I will aim to avoid limiting content to just itself and it's immediate context.

Hopefully something will let itself be known. Whilst not at the keyboard, I play jingles and jangles, teach music with the drum kit and meander around Dunedin, New Zealand.
